They raised a girl by the name of Sadie Mae Salverine. She was my grandmother, and later married Harley Roscoe Nutter. They had 7 children, and Grandpas father was Avery Nutter. The tale goes that my grandmother was placed with the Stanakers to raise by her father when he came from Michigan to work in the oil fields.
