Are there any professional researchers for Jackson County? I cannot find the death of my 3rd great-grandfather David LITTLE or his wives Sarah STAATS, Sarah STEED or Matilda KENDALE. He disappears around 1873. I have checked Jackson deaths/wills, Mason, Meigs and Gallia. Any help or suggestions much appreciated. If an event was not recorded, I am not certain what a paid researcher could do to make a difference. It is a fact that in the 1870s or earlier, very few births and deaths were recorded. If they attended a certain church, there may be a chance of some information being recorded in their records. In my experience in looking through old church records, their information appears very spotty at best also. If you have found burial information for any of them, this might provide a clue as to the area to start searching.
