The message was posted on the GenConnect Query board on the Jackson County WVGenWeb page. It is sent to the mail list as all postings to the GenConnect boards are gatewayed to the mail list. Some are not reading the instructions before posting and are listing the surnames that they are researching and not the ones in the text of that message. There then require that these be edited and corrected, or be prepared to answer the messages that are sent complaining that the message is not about the surnames that are listed. Postings and sharing of our genealogy research is what this is about. Listing the proper surnames makes maintaining the boards much easier.
