She was born on July 22, 1919, in Ravenswood, WV, daughter of the late Eskey and Nellie McMurray Pepper. She was a cook at Green Hills Country Club for 17 years, retired in 1984. She was a member of the Silverton Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughters, JoAnn Hart and husband Max, Columbus, OH; and Mary Stone, Ravenswood; son, James Suck, Jr., and Teresa Sharp, Ravenswood; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Pinkerman, and son-in-law, Gary Pinkerman. Services were held on Monday, March 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Pastor Annette Carper officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
