BONNETT Will In the name of God, Amen. I N.H. Bonnett, being weak of body but sound of mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous of making a proper distribution and arrangement of such worldly goods as I possess, do make and publish this as and for my last will and testament to me. First: I will and desire that my executor herin named shall provide for my funeral expenses and the payment of my just debts by selling a sufficient amount of my personal property after collecting such outstanding hereinafter provided for or directed. Second: I will and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Ann the farm on Parchment that I bought of Benj. Carter, also the one half of a tract of land situated on Bullrun containing 380 acres, also one good horse, one bed to be furnished with 4 double coverletts (one to be new) two blankets and two sheets with other necessary clothing for a good bed, also one cow and 5 head sheep. The balance of my real estate and personal property I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah and my three children to wit: Mariam Florence, L. Catharine, and Ida for their use and support jointly but expressly directed that the amount that I.H. Staats owes me shall be for the use of my four children never before ??? and ???? Staats is to pay the interest on said sum yearly for the purpose of schooling and clothing of said children and the principal is to be paid (that is the fourth part) to each of said children when they become of age. Lastly: I hereby nominate and appoint my friend E.S. Evans executor of this my last will and testament and he is to give bond according to law, and I hereby revoke and annul all former wills by me made at anytime made under my hand at Jackson Co., VA., this March 24, 1858.
