VA in 1795. Jemima had brothers David, Aaron & Benjamin. At least one brother and maybe more were around the Kanawha Valley in the early 1800s. John died in a rockfall while hunting near what now is Jackson Co. Re: Dawson. Apparently Jemima married sometime after John's death. I have her is avbout one census after John's demise and then lose track of her. A second marriage might explain her disappearance. I am descended from their son Edward, who ironically enough married a Koontz later in life. If either of you would be interested I have a little info on Edward and his descedants. Don
