They emigrated to Mill Creek about 1831 or 1832, locating on the farm since known as the Skidmore farm, on which Squire George Casto had lived. Their children were: Bet, married Henry Rollins. Angeline Skidmore, married James M. Reynolds. Isabel Skidmore, married Marshall Cunningham, a son of James Cunningham. He was a boat carpenter, and was drowned off a boat at Cincinnati. She died in Cincinnati a few years ago, aged seventy eight. Allen A. Skidmore, married "Modlin" Casto, a daughter of Isaac Casto. He has a furniture store in Ripley. Martha married Gilbert Pringle, and lived near Fairplain. Archibald, married first Elizabeth Waugh, and second a Wingett. He lived on Parchment.
