Posted on: Jackson County, WV Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/WV/Jackson/1717 Surname: MERICAL, KING ------------------------- My grat grand Uncle Hugh King married a Martha Merical, 9/6/1815-2/28/1910, In Monroe County, Ohio which is just across the River from West Virginia. They are buried at Scotts Ridge Metohdist Church Cemetery there. Hugh's son Nicholas married Hester Jane Merical who died in 1863. I am not sure where she is buried, but Nicholas is buried at New Smith Church Cemetery in Mason County, WV. Since Merical is not that common a surname, they is probably some connection with these Mericals and the Mericals that you all are referring to.
