Be sure to see the Company rosters and cemetery records. I have a David and a Granville Beverlin in Company B roster (listed in the Discharged section) He apparently served 3 years (Oct. 26, 1861 - Nov 11, 1864) in the 11th. David was discharged for a disability. I show Granville buried in the Good Cemetery, Kenna, Jackson County, West Virginia. His date of death being Nov 17, 1888. John: Great website! Thanks for the information on David & the burial place of Granville. I was sent information that Granville Beverlin lost a leg as a result of a wound he got at Lynchburg in June of 1864. I would like to know more about David's disability. Given that he mustered in at the same time as Granville, means he was either a cousin or brother. Does the 11th have a regimental?
