According to the Civil War Almanac, a "Granville W. Bereslin Pvt" (notice different spelling) was in the 11 West Virginia Infantry. He mustered in 10/26/1861 and mustered out 11/9/1864 (Jackson County). Info is also listed that "right leg shot off" Hope this helps.
