    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: exbuckeye Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.westvirginia.counties.jackson/6594.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Lesley...thanks for the reply. My ggg grandfather, Samuel Bell, died in Savoy, Jackson Co. Have been unable to locate where Savoy is/was. Samuel, his first wife, Annie, his second wife Artemesia, and his third wife, Nancy lived in Jackson Co for about 40 years (from around 1840 to 1880) and had, at least 10 children...several of which remained in Jackson County and had their families there. According to the census information they were located in Ravenswood Dist on Sand Creek, Gilmore Dist on Sand Creek, Union Dist, and Ripley Dist. I'm hoping, on my visit, I'll be able to obtain more information on his family, in addition to what I already have (most of which I have not listed here). Also, maybe you would know, does your library in Ripley had cemetery information as to who is buried where? I am hoping I can find that information also. Thanks for help...Mary Jo Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
