Eiko Strother, 71, of Ravenswood, Jackson County, WV, departed this life July 17, 2001, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, PA, following an extended illness. She was born December 15, 1929, in Tokyo, Japan, a daughter of the late Uhei and Sazuo (Fuichi) Natori. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Ravenswood. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clyde William Strother; sons, Robert Strother of Parkersburg, James Strother of Peoria, IL; daughter, Sue Strother Carrier of Altadena, CA; grandchildren, Bobby Strother, Emily Strother and Cynthia Carrier. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2001--10:00 am. at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Ken Miller officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 pm. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Mt. Clare, WV. Visitation is from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, July 20, at the funeral home.
