The following message appeared in the most recent edition of Rootsweb's Somebody's Links newsletter. Hope someone is a relative of this gentleman, and isn't it nice of the poster to try to get the effects into the proper hands? I have some personal effects that belonged to my step- grandfather, Everette Lackey MILLER, who died 19 Apr 1973 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia at the Veterans Hospital. He was born in 1905 in Ripley, Jackson County, West Virginia. He served in World War II and was a bachelor until he married my grandmother, Henrietta FERRELL LYONS, in 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. He never had any children, but we know he had a sister Mary MATHENY and an aunt Melinda who lived in Columbus. At the death of my grandmother, we inherited his effects and would like to see them in the hands of his family.
