I am search for information on the ancestors and descendants of WILLIAM TAYLOR (1845-1917) married to ALICE NANCY RILEY (1856-1931) on Dec. 25, 1881 in Ripley, Jackson Co. Their children as listed in the 1910 Ripley District Census were: CECIL (1894-1958), WALTER, JOSEPHINE, WILLIE, RUFUS (1895-1918), VELMA and NELLIE (my grandmother- 1901-1977). I know that as a young man William and his family came from Virginia - his parents were JOSEPH TAYLOR and ELIZA JANE ARCHEY, d/o JOSEPH ARCHEY of Bath co., Virginia. They were married in 1845. I don't know what became of the Taylor family, besides my grandmother of course. She married ALFRED STEBBINS in Detroit in 1928 and they had one child, my Dad Eugene in 1929.
