Willa Lucille Rollins, 93, of Ripley, WV, departed this life June 26, 2001 in the Ravenswood Care Center. She was born October 2, 1907 in Ripley, a daughter of the late Grover and Bessie (Bowles) McKown. She was a retired school teacher, former owner and operator of Rollins Lake, Ripley, and a member of the Mill Creek Farms Women's Club. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and attended the Evans United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Jim (Joyce) Rollins of Ripley; daughter, Clara Dell (Walter) Brown of Spencer; sister, Agnes Katherine McKown of Florida; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rollins; sister, Francis Lester; 1 grandchild. Service will be Saturday, June 30, 2001--10 am at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Walter Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Visitation 7 - 9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
