THE 1870 CENSUS HAS THEM AT # 43-43 Margaret 58 widow of george C Griffen VA george W 22 laborer Daniel S 19 Esther 20 William R. 1 Jackson Co They are in the Ravenswood Gilmore area on the 1870 census. He doesn't appear to be buried in Ravenswood Cemetery. At least he doesn't have a stone from the cemetery reading. I also don't see him in the Grant District books. I checked the 1880 census for Margaret and don't see her.
