She was born February 11, 1910 in Angerona, WV, a daughter of the late, Henry "Heck" and Blanche (Meredith) McIntyre. She was a self employed seamstress, a past president of the West Side Women's Club, Charleston, a member of the Faith Rebekah Lodge #57, Elkview, WV, and a 50 year member of the Tiskelwah Chapter #45, Order of Eastern Star, Charleston, and she was a protestant. Survivors include stepsons, Verlin (Karen) Dixon of Columbia Station, OH, and Ronnie (Betty) Dixon of Evans; stepdaughter, Blondina (Carl) VanSickle of Cottageville; brothers, Henry Ralph McIntyre of Sissonville, and Bernard McIntyre of Canton, OH; several nieces and nephews; 3 step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Milam and Blonda Dixon; brothers, Charles "Bid", Donald, Raymond, Robert, John, and Harold; an infant sister. Service will be Sunday, August 5, 2001--2 pm at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Benjamin Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home, followed by an Eastern Star service by Cottageville Chapter #16 at 8 pm.
