He was born February 8, 1933, at Ravenswood, a son of the late Elmer Earl and Velva Virginia (Merrill) Wilson. He was formerly a brick layer and tow truck driver. He was a protestant by faith. He is survived by his wife, Clarinda Jo (Miller) Wilson; daughters, Janell Dawn Wilson, Jessica Lacole Wilson, Shavonne Rose Wilson and Megan Leann Wilson, all at home; sister, Blanche DeBussey of Murraysville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Ann Wilson, a son, Raymond Curtis Wilson, and an infant sister. Funeral services will be Friday, September 14, 2001--1:00 pm, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Sinnette Summers officiating. Burial will follow in Latham Ridge Cemetery, Ravenswood. Visitation is from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
