I'm trying to determine if David R Cornell born ca 1841 in Clarke Co, VA moved to Jackson county with his parents and are listed as Corwin's on the 1860 census, died while serving in the Civil War. I found this at Ancestry but can't find David in 1870 or 1880 which makes me wonder if he died in the service. Is there a list for Jackson County that might show him as dying?
