    3. Betty, I am not doubting your information just trying to double check these BAKERS from my perspective. I assume that there is a copy of the actual will of John BAKER that lists his children; the will that is cited as JCWR, 1/10/1834, prob 3/24/1834? Is John BAKER's name on the will along with these children? If so, I will have to try and get a copy. 3. Bette, I assume there is a will in Jackson Co, WV. I probably got that info from the JCHS list of Wills in Jackson Co, and it lists other wills that I found there. And, wonder of wonders, that list is where I can find it for a change. It looks like it is in Record of Wills Book 1, page 35 and probably page 36. Since what I have is a copy (possibly of a copy since it's not all that great a copy!), you may find that the names are not transcribed correctly. Looking at it now, I wonder about the daughter Katherine Lee, because it's plain that Mary (Baker) Thornton is married. And then there is Katherine (Baker) Westly. Is she the same as Katherine Lee? And it's not 100% clear whether Benjamin and Elijah are 2 people. Please do doubt me, at least to the point where you prove it for yourself, and if/when you find something wrong, please let me know! I don't quite measure up to Mary Poppins (practically perfect) yet. [Hysterical laughter is NOT appropriate here!] :) Betty > Betty, I am not doubting your information just trying to double check > these BAKERS from my perspective.
