He was born on April 3, 1950, in Duncan, WV, a son of the late Lester and Dora Gandee Anderson. He was an employee of the Jackson County Landfill. Surviving is his wife, Pamela DeVaughn Anderson, Sandyville; son, Rickie Shane, at home; 5 brothers, Veldra and wife Janice, Leroy, WV; Burton and wife Debbie, Sandyville; Dean and wife Carolyn, Leroy, John, Parkersburg; and Keith, Sandyville; sisters, Elaine Reed and husband Lee, Kittshill, Ohio; and Martha Parsons, Reedy, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leo Anderson. A private family service was held on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Mark McCloy officiating.
