She was born on June 5, 1917, in New Albany, IN, a daughter of the late Edward and Ida Hollowel Heeke. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenswood, and a member of the Monday Night League at Ravens Lanes Bowling, Ravenswood. Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Wight, Ravenswood; and Sharon Blair, Millwood; 3 grandchildren, Michael Schnell, Mark Blair and Gary Blair; 4 great grandchildren, Michael Schnell II, Courtney Blair, Olivia Schnell, and Phillip David Blair; and great, great grandchildren, Minnie Mae Keen, Isaiah Michael Rudolph Schnell, and Mariah Schnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; and sister, Norma Jones. Services were held on Thursday, August 25, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Jackie Bailey, Elder, officiating. Burial followed in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV.
