She was born on September 30, 1929, in Amherstdale, WV, a daughter of the late Richard and Tennessee Riffe Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Miller Lane Church of God. Surviving is her son, Tom Pendleton, New Lebanon, Ohio; sister, Phoene Morgan, Sandyville, WV; 2 nephews, Richard Blackburn, Ravenswood, and Joe Jelich, Procious, WV; and 2 grandchildren. Services were held on Monday, August 22, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
