I'm looking for any history or info on the 46th Bttn Virginia Cavalry that supposedly recruited in Jackson Co. Specifically would like to know if anyone knows WHO from Jackson Co was recruited. The outfit was lead by Brig Gen W. L. Jackson. Anyone out there who had ancestors in this outfit? I'm trying to find out if one of my ancestors, Columbus A. Lewis, was in this outfit.
