He was born on August 28, 1946, in Braxton County, WV, son of the late Warren L. and Arlene Boggs Carter. He was a laborer in maintenance, retired from Eramit of Marietta, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army. Surviving is his wife, Loretta DeLong Carter, Rockport, WV; daughter, Tammy Sue Rose and her husband Vernon, Stanley, NC; son, Christopher Carter and his wife Amy, Parkersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Blair Greg and Carter Greg, and sister, Linda Sue Carter, Rockport, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister. Services were held on Wednesday, March 28, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Scott Hannas officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends visited the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends may express their concoldences to the Carter family at [email protected]
