She was born June 6, 1915 in Letart, WV, a daughter of the late Philip and Matilda Mae “Tillie” (Merritt) Kinzel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Webster Allison, Jr., an infant daughter, Patricia Jean Allison, and a brother, Roe Kinzel. She was a homemaker, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and member of the Christian Church, Montgomery. Survivors include her son, Paul Webster Allison of Columbia, CT; daughter, Nancy Carol Allison of Charleston; brother, Kenneth Kinzel of Frankfort; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. Service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Guiding Star Advent Christian Church, Letart, WV, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating. Burial followed in the Letart-Evergreen Cemetery, Letart. Visitation was from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the Guiding Star Advent Christian Church, or to the Letart-Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
