Engle, Sr., 70, of LeRoy, WV, departed this life on February 8, 2005, at his home. He was born on August 21, 1934, in Issonville, KY, son of the late Fred Engle, Sr., and Belva Bodkins Engle. He was a production worker at Pechiney Rollled Products in Ravenswood. Surviving are his children, Calvin Engle, Jr., Gallipolis, Ohio; Sandra Daugherty and husband Roger, Pt. Pleasant, WV; Patricia Engle, Gallipolis, Ohio; and Debra Roark and husband Butch, Pt. Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Heath Engle and wife Sue; Angie Engle Gensheimer and husband Eric; Gabriel Scott; Jessica Hartley; Jody Hartley; Cody Hartley; and Brandon Kirby; great grandchildren, Noah Litchfield; Hayden Scott; and Colt Engle; brothers, Fred Engle, Jr., Ohio; and James Engle, LeRoy; and sisters, Garnet Hess, Gallipolis, Ohio; and Christine McVay, Ravenswood. Services were held on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home Chapel, Ravenswood, with Reverend Rick DeQuasie officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
