As far as I can tell, Delmer Hite was a big part of the Jackson County Historical Society. But does anyone know if he left a written copy of his own research? I was researching another family this week that ties into the Hite family. The question I have is about the parents of Emmazetta Hite who married Hiram Douglas Casto. Another researcher has her as the daughter of Richard Lewis Hite and Jemima Westfall. Her DOB is July 1879, but she is not on the 1880 census - with them or anyone else as far as I can tell, so the DOB may be incorrect. I am assuming Delmer was the son of William L Hite and Louisa J Fisher, which would make Emmazetta his aunt. Just looking for confirmation. Thanks, Betty
