He was born on March 12, 1962, in Parkersburg, WV, the son of Gary and Nyla Jean "June" Elswick Owens. Gary was a Sales Associate in Retail Sales. He was a member of BASS; loved being with people, and loved music and fishing. Surviving are his mother and father, Gary and June Owens, Millwood, WV; grandmother, Reva Owens, Ravenswood; son, Travis Allen Owens, Ravenswood; girlfriend, April Gordon, Ravenswood; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Services were held on Monday, February 14, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Steve Raines officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
