She was born on April 19, 1928, in Roderfield, WV, a daughter of the late George and Rhoda Sexton Ratliff. She was a housewife. Surviving is her husband, Charles Lee Farmer, Ravenswood; sons, Roger Lee Farmer, San Jose, CA; James Edward Farmer, Sheffield Lake, Ohio; and Charles Nelson Farmer, Marietta, Ohio; brother, John Dale Ratliff, Vermillion, Ohio; sister, Genevieve Price, Culpepper, VA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services were held on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.
