Looking for info on Jacob & Sarah VARNER who are listed in the 1860 Federal Census for Jackson Co., VA/WV. I am trying to determine if this is the same Jacob VARNER, born ca. 1813, in Greene Co., PA, married Sarah (LNU). He had 2 brothers, John Varner, born Oct. 1801, Greene Co., PA, married Phoeba PEW and settled in Harrison Co., VA/WV & William Varner, born Sept. 1807, Greene Co., PA, married Letitia "Litty" WOOD, lived in OH and then settled in Pleasants Co., VA/WV - there were also 2 half-brothers, Alpheus "Alf" VARNER, born 1825, Greene Co., PA, married Minerva HICKMAN and lived in Dunkard Twp., Greene Co., PA & Henry VARNER, born ca. 1827, Greene Co., PA (his name may be Henry Joseph or Joseph Henry VARNER) and Joseph VARNER married Matilda HALE of Monongalia Co., VA/WV.
