Kwasnik, age 73, of Ravenswood, WV, died August 21, 2001, at Eldercare of Ripley, WV. He was born on November 6, 1927, a son of the late John and Mary Kolanko Kwasnik, in Weirton, WV. He service in the U.S. Merchant Marines in World War II. He was a Merchant Marine Engineer, AMOCO; a member of the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association, Baltimore, MD, and he was a Roman Catholic by faith. He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Mott Kwasnik, Ravenswood, WV; daughter, Pamela J. Tillman and her husband Steve, Superior, CO; 2 granddaughters, Michelle and Melissa; and a sister, Jean T. Bysarovich and her husband Chester, Glen Rock, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2001, at 12:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Father George Manjadi officiating. Burial will follow at Ravenswood Cemetery.
