It is in extreme northern Jackson Co. on Little Pond Creek Road about 4 miles south of the Wood Co. line. There used to be a tiny hamlet called Willow Grove on the Ohio River at a spot which is now on the back side of the former Kaiser Aluminum fab plant. Several nice old farmhouses were moved to various places when the plant was built. One old two story brick house was still there abandoned as late as 1979 when I left the area. I was told an old gentleman named Mr. King had owned it earlier. I don't believe there was a cemetery there. Now for Williamson Cem......I have a possible theory on this. There were Williamsons from Murraysville in northwestern JCK. On the maps of that area a cemetery is shown at Murraysville right along a great bend in the river where the old Flesher steamboat building yard was located in the late 19th century. The map shows no name for this cem. All other cems. are listed as to their names in that ! end of the county with none of those being called Williamson. Just a theory, mind you. Hopefully, a knowledgable browser may confirm or deny. Regards, Fletch Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
