Because Rachel is listed in Jackson Co. WV in a later census without Peter, if he'd died with the family in KS, I expect she would've stayed there to be buried with him. They could be buried in OH too, because their kids went back and forth from there, Matilda living in Vinton, Co Oh for awhile and also their daugther Julia marrying Andrew Friend in Meigs Co.
