Duvall for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current money of Virginia in hand paid the receipt whereof is hearby acknowledge hath Given granted Bargained and sold and by these presents - Doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Joel Buffington his heirs or assigns A Certain Tract or parcel of Land containing by survey one hundred fifty Acres Lying and Being in the County of Kanawha afoarsaid on an Island in the Ohio River above the mouth of Sandy Creek that falls into The Ohio eight or Ten miles above Mills Creek. witnessed by Allyn Prior, Robert McKee and Wm.
