This has excerpts from Henrietta Fitzhugh Barr's oft noted diary of war days and complications in Ravenswood. One should have taken due caution and thought twice before rousing the ire of that fine lady. I like "the war between the states" much better than "civil war".Who would want to join a club that you couldn't quit without getting beaten up by all the other members?
