We have been looking for her for a long time. The genealogy on rootsweb is probably what we have put there from the info as we know it. I have found the 1880 census which lists a Christine as David McKitricks wife with the two boys, John William and Jobe P. She was from Kentucky and her parents from Germany. And the 1990 census the only thing I can find is the veteran census which only lists David. By 1900 Agusta was already dead and he was married to Catherine Miller. Agusta died in 1897 and he married Catherine 1898. It is very confusing. I have also found that there are 3 different Sweetwater's in Texas one has an indian name and the other has a mexican name. But they all mean Sweetwater, named after creeks with sweet water. None of them were founded at the time of Agusta's birth, so by saying that she was from Sweetwater Texas it could have been because they may have lived near a creek.
