He was born on February 3, 1935, in New Haven, WV, a son of the late Jerry Mike and Florence Elliott Hill. He was a lifelong farmer who loved raising tomatoes. He worked in the Store Room Department at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. in Ravenswood. He was a member of the F.O.E. #2171; Racine Gun Club: Steelworkers Local Union 6669; and past Board of Directors of the Ravenswood Federal Credit Union. He served in the U.S. Army. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Linda Mallory Hill, of the home; sons, Perry Hill and wife Bobbi, Letart Falls, Ohio; Seth Hill, Portland, Ohio; and Jason Hill and wife Lisa, Clifton, WV; grandchildren, Nathan Hill, Nakisha Hill and Nicholas Hill; special granddaughters, Jeri Hill and Mallory Hill; and brother, Clarence Hill and wife Dottie, Gallipolis, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Ray and George Albert Hill. Services were held on Sunday, June 12, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend William Sullivan officiating. Burial followed in Letart Falls Cemetery, Letart Falls, Ohio. Friends visited the funeral home on Saturday, June 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends may express their condolences to the Hill family at [email protected]
