He was born on September 15, 1962, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Phil Fourney, and Betty Jean Jolliffe Fourney. He was an Environmental Consultant and Professional Geologist. Todd was a 1980 graduate of Ravenswood High School. He had an associate's degree in printing technology from WV Tech; a degree in geology from Marshall University; and a degree as a certified hazardous materials manager from Wayne State University. He was a whitewater rafting and kayaking guide, and an outdoor enthusiast and environmentalist. He was a member of the American Whitewater Association. Surviving is his mother, Betty Fourney, Ravenswood; grandmother, Martha Jolliffe, Knob Fork, WV; brothers, Ed Fourney, Beckley, WV; Conrad Fourney and Cynthia, Boise, Idaho; Andrew Fourney and Patricia, Sacramento, CA; and Paul Fourney and Beth, Hiram, GA; sister, Martha Fourney, Cross Lanes, WV; and his loving friend, Dawn.
