He was born on July 31, 1939, in Jackson County, WV, a son of the late Richard and Crystal Milhoan Hoselton. Marshall was a member of the Milhoan Ridge Baptist Church, where he served as Trustee and Song Leader. He was employed at Ravenswood Cemetery as the Groundskeeper for 31 years, and also served as a Board Member. He also served on the Board of Jackson County Gospel Singers for 20 plus years. Surviving is his companion, Sallie Cather, Murraysville, WV; brothers, Tom Hoselton and wife Mary, Ravenswood; Glen Hoselton and wife Loretta, Murraysville; Early Hoselton and wife Caroline, Murraysville; sisters, Marie Williams and husband Rob, Murraysville; Edith Nelson and husband Charles, Ravenswood; and Kay Baldwin, Ravenswood; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Tim Underwood officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends visited the funeral home on Wednesday, June 1, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials were made to the Milhoan Ridge Baptist Church, c/o Caroline Hoselton, 97 Shaffer Ridge, Murraysville, WV 26164, or the American Cancer Society(Envelopes provided by the funeral home).
