She was born on March 14, 1947, in Greensboro, NC, a daughter of Ernest Lewey and Louise Garner Vaughn. Cindy graduated from Union High School, Union, SC, the class of 1965. She was of the Southern Baptist faith. Before coming to West Virginia, Cindy was employed at Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC, and she was also a Girl Scout leader. She was an accountant for the WV Department of Health and Human Resources in Charleston, WV. Surviving is her father, Ernest Lewey, Asheboro, NC; mother, Louise Vaughn, Spartanburg, SC; husband, Kenneth Wayne Fuller, of the home; daughter, Alaina Moody and husband Steven, Fayetteville, NC; son, Jason Vaughn Callahan and wife Melissa, Greensboro, NC; stepdaughter, Heather Fuller, Cameron, NC; grandchildren, Tyler, Mariah, and Payton; step grandchild, Logan; sister, Ann Beecham, Hickory, NC; half-sisters, Wendy Faucette, Davidson, NC; Rebecca Autry, Wintworth, NC; Teresa Morefield, Greensboro, NC; brothers, Richard Vaughn, Greensboro, NC; and Wayne Vaughn, Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her father who raised her, Howard Vaughn. Services were held on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Chapel, Greensboro, NC, with Reverend Don Ashley officiating. Burial followed in Westminster Gardens. Friends visited Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, on Monday, May 23, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, May 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, Greensboro, NC.
