Thanks, Sandy. It's such a pleasure to work with people like you. We're having a great time! We went to San Diego last week - hit the beach, the Mission Bay park for playground and picnic, Zoo, lighthouse, and a 2 hour harbor cruise - and Phillip managed to not fall overboard!!! :) Since when is genealogy free???????? Lor-dee, do you know how much money I spend on it??? ;-) And it's worth every penny. I'm just glad that someone else can benefit from what I have and what I find. I'd hate to have it all die with me. I work with some wonderful researchers, including JoAnn, on our common families. Some days it doesn't leave me any time to do any of 'my' research. And since I am a grandma, a large part of my time, especially in the summer, is spent with my grandkids, and yes, we even take vacations (just back from the beach!!!), so the email piles up and sometimes, doesn't even get answered because it gets lost. > > I enjoy helping people find their ancestors and it's an added bonus when they happen to be someone who I already have in my database. I especially love to hear from Casto, Parsons, Randolph and Rhodes researchers. If you don't get a reply, try me again. So so true, genealogy is not free money wise but its free for us to put it on line to help others. Your summer is going great, sounds wonderful. I can't begin to imagine how life would be with the grandkids. Next week my ex flies in from CA and I will not want to get in the way with his visit so I will be miserable with out my darlings. What a wonderful job we have as gram's, as my 7 year old now wants to call me. So funny. Take care and we all do appreciate your wonderful help. Adding Bible Records, Deeds, Obituaries, Pensions and Biographies is a great way to share with other Jackson County researchers.
