He was born on May 3, 1944, in Sherman, WV, a son of the late Harry Roush and Mabel Lemaster Conner. Mike was a life member of the Ravenswood VFW Post 6669, a member of Fannin Chapel Church in Sherman, and a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a tractor-trailer driver. Surviving is his wife, Sandra Parsons Roush, of the home; sons, Michael G. Roush, Jr., and wife Robin, Sherman, WV; and Clay Roush, Ripley, WV; daughter, Kelly Roush, Sherman; sisters, Doris Shafflo, Betty Scott, Kathy Smith, all of Aliquippa, PA; Nancy McCartney, Ravenswood; and Janet Webb, Marshalltown, Ohio; brothers, Max Roush, Ravenswood; Harry Roush, Moundsville, WV; Steve Roush, Ravenswood; Dennis Roush, Aliquippa, PA; Pete, Texas; and Jeff, Aliquippa, PA; 9 grandchildren; and stepfather, Marshall Conner, Aliquippa, PA. Services were held on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Reverend Bill Sullivan and Reverend Jack Gwinn officiating. Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends visited the funeral home on Tuesday, July 5, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends may email their condolences to the Roush family at [email protected]
