It's the first grassy road to the left out the road a piece...as we say in the country. Someone has mowed the grassy path up to the cemetery. Most of the Williamson monuments can no longer be read. Found one or two that I could read. Others are buried there: Smith Kimes, Walker, Kinnard. At one time I am sure one could see the Ohio River...but the trees are so tall now that surrounds the area. Oh, someone had been so kind as to mow the entire cemetery. The gate had fallen. At your suggestion, we stopped at the Coleman Cemetery. Found the daughter of Dana and Hazel Williamson. If I knew my history better, I am sure there were others related to the Williamsons. I remember seeing in a family history book a young son named Coleman Williamson. Now that should be a clue for sure. Went to the Ravenswood Cemetery and found so many of ou! r Williamsons. The caretakers were great in pointing out the sites that we looked for. They do a great job on that cemetery. Bless their hearts. Thank you for all the good information that you offer on the Message Board. I hope others will respond to this. Blessings. I had located a Samuel C. Franklin in the Jackson Co. W.Va.
