John Lane b. 1797 in Delaware was the son of a Lawrence Lane. John married Hannah Curry b. 1812 in Jackson Co. 29 Mar 1832. I used Jackson Co. gen page sub Pioneer Project sub Surnames, Rootsweb, and Latter Day Saints Family Search which seemed to triangulate the same info. Milton Lane ( ref. Les Shockey note ) has a nephew in the area still...John Casto lives in the Sandyville-Odaville area; should be in the Ravenswood white pages. John's wife is the granddaughter of Martin Archer and I believe he may have been the local Archer who was quite a genealogist. You're gonna find 'em...I kinda feel it. You can tell the Castos where you got the connection, but I just didn't want to put their number on the page.
