I see no connection to my John Ephriam Jackson, b. Aug. 31, 1842 in Coosa Co., AL or Cobb Co., GA, m. Susan Civility Jackson, d. April 26, 1921, both buried in Wilsonville Cemetery, Wilsonville, AL. I have their children names, one of which is my grandfather Glever Dallas Jackson, but no history on John Ephriam Jackson or anyone before him. Since he married a Jackson it makes it difficult. Burns & Amelia were married 11 June 1890 in Jackson Co. WV. They had the following children: Ethel M. Edna B. 1893, Oris 1895, Earthle 1898 and Florence He was the son of Paul and Emily J. Hendricks of Wood Co. They lived there in 1880. Burns was still in Jackson Co. in the 1910 Census. Paul was born in Pa, Burns in WV. Anyone know anything about this family????????

Newton Poling Bennett was the son of Isaiah & Catherine Bennett. He was born 6 July 1858. He was married to Amelia Dopp and they had one child: Ettie Dale Bennett Dopp born 1 March 1885. Newton Poling then married Edith Eliza Bruner on 6 Jan 1886 in Millwood, Ks. Newton H. Bennett was born in Jackson Co. also. He was born in 1882. He married 23 June 1902 to Cora Carmichael. He was not the son of Isaiah Bennett as someone has supposed, the birth dates are too late. He may have been the son of Aaron & Annie Bennett. Any one know who Newton H. Bennett was?????

I am not related to William Asberry Bennett. I posted some obits out of old newspapers I had. However, I do have in my family files: Chester Valentine Andrews, b. March 8, 1905 in Jackson County, WV, and died Oct. 2, 1981. He married Marcel Ottice Bennett. She was born May 7, 1908 in Belington, WV. and died on July 22, 1989. Researching William B. Myers married to Ettie Dale Bennett Dopp and thier parents William and Isabel (Pringle ) Myers and Amelia Dopp and Burns Hendricks all of Jackson Co. Also Newton Poling Bennett who moved to Kansas in 1884 or early 1885.

I know that Moody's father was married to an Maggie Merrical and an Media Cox, but niether one is my grandpas mother. I have searched and searched but can not find out who she is!!! In case you are interested, Moody Parsons' lineage can be traced back several more generations. His grandfather, William H. Parsons, was b. 1849, son of Moses M. Parsons and Mary "Polly" Dewees. William m. Oct. 23, 1870, Jackson Co., WV, Catherine Casto. She was dau. of John Mc Dade Casto whose family can be traced back to John Casto, Sr. of NJ. Moses M. Parsons was son of John Parsons, Sr. and Mary Greathouse and grandson of Charles Parsons, Sr. and Elizabeth Chestnut.

Lisa, Virgil's father was Perry Stanton Good and his mother was America Alice Whited. Virgil was born Feb 1, 1888 and died Feb6, 1973. The connection was that Perry had at least 1 child (Alpha Good) with Sarah Fields. I have not been able to determine if he was actually married to her or not at the time. Sarah went on to marry James W. Raines and had 6 children. Alpha's obituary mentions his brothers and stepbrothers (Virgil being one of them). Sarah's parents were James Fields and Susan Garret. I have some old pictures of Virgil if you are interested. I have quite a bit of information regarding Virgil's father Perry and his descendants that I would be happy to share.

Good evening list. My cousin and I have been searching for Charles W(?) LUCAS for a combined total of 13 years. All to no avail. The 1900 Meigs County, OH census reads that he was born in OH, exact location unknown. The same census reads that Charles' father was born in WV and his mother was born in Canada E. I am not sure how his father could have been born in WV, so it probably was the part of VA that was to become WV? Here is my new way of thinking...Charles,and his in-laws were frequently going to WV. Could Charles actually have been born there? Is there anyone with a birth record index, that would do me a really huge favor and look up our Charles? We have zero information on Charles, no parents, or siblings. Charles W(?) LUCAS b. 1866 (OH), and died ????????? possibly OH. We certainly appreciate any and all information. Charles served in Civil War ( Company A 25th Ohio IV). Found in and around Ohio Valley area. Mentioned not only in Monroe Co. Ohio also in Wetzel, Woods, Jackson Pleasant Co.’s WV. 1870 census finds them living in Magnolia Township, Wetzel Co. 1880 census finds them living in Jackson Co., Grant District, WV.
