You need to provide more info if you have it, like what county was he born in or did he live in, who was his wife or who were his children. Hughes is a very common name and WV.VA is not a specific enough location. I personally have 18 William Hugheses in my ancestry, all of which were born in WV. I do not think any of them had the middle initials LB, but I am not sure. I have a couple born in 1839, one born in 1841, one born in 1846 and several that I do not know their birth year. Actually your William L B Hughes could not have been born in WV in 1856, since WV did not exist in 1856. Good luck finding him. Let me know if yours was born in Jackson, Roane or Mason Counties.     3. We have been in touch. so we are both looking for it, I have seen this listing in the Jackson Co. Census1910 but my computer just last all my files and I haven't gotten them back as of yet, if I can retrieve them, I have the census, I do know that SHE was listed with Everett Boggs in 1910 with a brother John, and sister Clara. so trying to verify this, If I get it I will pass it on to John Gill. thanks. But, I was disapointed with the content. Some information was good and some was a lot less than good. Much of his information comes form interviews with people and the information that some of these folks had was incomplete, poor, or just wrong. It includes some fo the best and ome of the worst of oral history. This is also true some of the other Jackson Historys. It is good, but don't use it for your sole means of crossing over the water.
