Don't know if you ever found this but i think i've found where Columbus' dad and several brothers and sisters are buried. i believe its the Lewis -Sehon cemetery in mason co. it appears that mason co. also has a Union district as does jackson co. It looks like Columbus' grandpa was Col. Andrew Lewis , hero and commander at the battle of Point Pleasant. Is this correct? Please check out site on yahoo...http:/ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/wv/mason/cemetery/cem0001.txt Various Lewis info is scattered throughout this whole page. If this turns out to be info you already had , let me know and i'll keep on looking. Wishing you luck, Jim Fletcher

Hi Folks; We are looking for documented information on Zadock Greathouse, alleged son of Michael Greathouse. Zadock born in Harrison County (Taylor) married Susan or Sarah(Sally) Mason. He removed to Jackson County as he appears in the census there. (circa 1860) We are trying to prove his parentage and his father's parentage. Michael may be the son of William. Who was William's father. Also, looking for info on Henry Greathouse and his father Zed from Harrison who also relocated to Jackson. Thanks for any help anyone can give us. Nancy & Terry Greathouse

Emily was my grandmother. Unfortunately, she died when my father was 14 so I never knew her and I have no connections to her family. I can tell you she was born Emily Madaline Skidmore on Dec 6, 1906. Her parents were Charles Lushion Skidmore and Dora Staats. She died Feb 10th, 1940 and is buried in Fairplain Cemetery. As you mentioned she married Gerald Oris Bibbee who was my grandfather. They later divorced. I think the last sibling of Emily's, a sister, died about 10 or 12 years ago. She lived in a red brick home on a corner of the Fairplain exit of I-77. I can't remember her name now. I hope this helps. If you have more information on the Skidmore family tree, let me know. Keith
Hi Dan, Do you have a James David Hughes b 1871/2 in Ravenswood W.Va. He married a Rowena Bosworth.I need Parents names date of marrage and death. They are my g.grandparents. This my brick wall. Any help would be great. Thank You Ruth
I didn't catch the first email asking about this Hughes, but I have one William Hughs born in 1858 who had a twin named Aceneth S. C. Hughes and so maybe her brother William also had the two middle names too. Their parents were John Hughes b. 1835 and Martha Hamrick born 1835 married in 1850. But that's all I have other than more children for this couple. If this sounds like what you are looking for and you want the other children, let me know I will gladly send them to you. Janet in WV
