No dates for the parents, both born in Russell Co. Va. On Alvertie C Scarbrough born 23 June 1901 married ...........Thompson. She has an unfinished tombstone in Goshen Cemetery. No dates on marriage or death date.

I have been researching Joseph Smith for years, I know Joseph Smith Sr. And Mahala Bowman were his parents he was born in wood county..in 1865 Married Indianola Mills borm 1865 in ? they where married Nov. 20th 1881 in Jackson co. I do know Joseph and Mahala Smith also had a daughter Rabecca Born in 1861 THAT is all I can find... Anyone with any info on the area or this family please share thanks

Some of the names are familiar to me but I can't connect them directly to me. Yes, I believe I am a direct descendant of Col\Gen Andrew Lewis of the Battle of Point Pleasant. My line goes back from Augustus Hoyt Lewis B: 1861 in Jackson Co., Columbus B: abt 1826 in Mason Co., Andrew B: abt 1794 in Mason Co., Thomas B: 1752 B: ? , Gen. Andrew Lewis B: 1720 in Ireland. Maybe some of these were in the cemetery you gave me but stones are unreadable. I really do appreciate your reply though and your hard work. Ken Lewis
