Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WCC.2ACE/316.1 Message Board Post: Here it is 2004 and I'm still looking for dear long lost great grandpa Casto Johnson who married Naomi Vincent somewhere in Tennessee in 1904. He up and left his wife and small daughter Zola Mable Johnson and his unborn son Irvin Esco Johnson. Casto deserted his family in Clinton Co. Ky. around August of 1908. His daughter was or turned 2 years old the month he left, his wife gave birth to their 2nd son my grandfather Irvin Esco Johnson on 2-27-1909. We know nothing much of Casto Johnson. Naomi filed for divorce from him in Clinton Co. Ky. In April of 1910. Casto never appeared for the divorce nor was he ever heard of after he left in 1908. Some family members say it's possible he went to Celina Tennessee. (Nothing proving that). It was said that he ran around with some boys that were the Staley Brothers in Clinton Co. Ky. But, those boys went to Tennessee. (It's possible he could of been related to these boys to????). When I looked up birth records in Clinton Co. Ky. for my! grandfather Irvin Esco Johnson it says that his father was Casto Johnson but weirdly it said Irvin's mother was Ethell Moles. This is so incorrect Irvin's mother's name was Naomi Vincent daughter of Jeptha Vincent and Isabelle (Norris). When I read the wording under the topic it was worded weird that I could see where someone giving the information might of thought they were asking for Casto's mother's maiden name when actually they were asking for the babies (Irvin's) mother's maiden name. So could Ethel Moles be Casto's mother????? I searched the entire page before this and the actual page the record is on and the one after it to see if someone might of enter the wrong mother's maiden name on the wrong child. But, there was no Noami Vincent listed anywhere. So at a lose for who this Ethel Moles is? If anyone knows of anyone I've mentioned please contact me. My maiden name stops with great grandpa Casto Johnson. And he has/had 2 children and 22 grandchildren not to mentio! n the rest of this huge clan that never knew him. My e-mail address h as changed.
